4 utility workers injured in electrical accident


SHAKOPEE, Minn. (AP) -- Four utility crew members have been injured in an electrical accident in Shakopee.

The accident happened near the Shakopee women's prison Monday morning.

Shakopee Public Utilities spokeswoman Renee Schmid says a crew was working on the electrical distribution system near the prison when the accident occurred. Two of the four were burned.

Schmid says one of the four has been released from the hospital and another worker is expected to be released soon. Schmid did not have the conditions of the other two workers.
