ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Warm, humid air will continue to blow into the region today ahead of a weak storm system and cold front to our north.
That front won't arrive in our local area until later tomorrow, so we'll be in the broiler today ahead of its arrival as high temperatures are expected to reach the mid 90s this afternoon.
Expect sunny skies and gusty southwest winds through the day, leading to that big warm up. There will be a chance for a few showers and thunderstorms tomorrow, especially late in the day, with highs around 90°.
Those rain chances will hold over through Wednesday with a lesser chance for showers Thursday as that front will stall just to our south and then push back northward as a warm front for the weekend.
Temperatures will be in the 80s for a few days and then climb into the low 90s for the upcoming weekend.
