MINNEISKA, Minn. (KTTC) -- A railroad car from a train derailment almost two months ago remains near the track in Minneiska.
Minneiska resident Howard Gorder snapped photos Thursday of the Canadian Pacific car. Gorder said in an email that the car is an eyesore so close to the Mississippi river.
Canadian Pacific spokesman Ed Greenberg said Friday the company is aware of the car and will set a time to remove it.
The derailment happened May 19 and sent two cars off the track.
Both cars were empty and no one was hurt.
