Crash knocks out power

Updated:

OLMSTED COUNTY, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a car crashed into a power pole early Thursday morning.

The accident happened around 3 a.m. on County Road 34.

Wires were found on the road, and a car was left behind.

Inside the car was a stash of antique toy tractors. Deputies say they may have been stolen because someone listening to scanner traffic said those tractors belonged to him.

Investigators say they have a good idea who was driving the car.

Rochester Public Utilities says the power was out in the area for about 20 minutes while crews repaired the pole.
