Dymanh Chhoun

Dymanh joined our team in May 2012 from KQDS Fox 21 News in Duluth, where he broke in as a photojournalist in January. During 2011, Dymanh worked as a cameraman for the Big Ten Network at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Dymanh is bilingual including fluency in Khmer, a Cambodian language. Dymanh earned a B.A. degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Minnesota last May, and earlier, an associate degree at Normandale Community College.

He also participated in an Urban Journalism Workshop at the University of St. Thomas in 2005, where he studied with Dave Nimmer. "I truly believe this guy is one in a thousand: a good eye, a quick mind, a strong heart and a generous spirit. It's been an honor to be his teacher and mentor."
