ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Even dogs need relief from hot temperatures.
For the past three years, Char Alexander has established her lawn as the official doggie rest stop along Silver Lake.
A pet owner herself, Alexander said she usually sees about 50-60 dogs a day - but this week, it's been a lot less.
"I don't think people realize how hot it gets for them," Alexander said. "And all they can do to keep cool is by puffing."
Alexander refills the water bowl at least five times a day.
