MINNETRISTA, Minn. (AP) -- A man who died when he was crushed by a runaway trailer and boat in Minnetrista has been identified as a 58-year-old Austin, Minnesota resident.
The Hennepin County medical examiner's office identified him Tuesday as Roger Erickson. He died Sunday evening after he was pinned beneath the trailer.
Erickson had been vacationing with his family. The trailer had just been unhooked from a vehicle when it began rolling down a driveway. Authorities say Erickson tried to stop it and was crushed.
The medical examiner's office says Erickson died as a result of blunt-force injuries and lack of oxygen. The death has been ruled accidental.
