BLOOMING PRAIRIE, Minn. (KTTC) -- Thousands of people are packing into the small town of Blooming Prairie this Independence Day for an Old Fashioned 4th of July get-together.
The week long celebration kicked off Sunday. Miniature Golf, an arts and crafts fair, food vendors, and an antique tractor pull are just some of the events taking place. In fact, this afternoon a group of Just for Kix dancers took to the stage. The celebration is popular. Typically the small community of about 2,000 people grows to 35,000 some during the festivities.
