Authorities search for 5-year-old boy in Wisconsin

OAK GROVE, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities in Pierce County are searching for a 5-year-old boy who is missing.

Scott Meyer is a non-verbal autistic boy who goes by the name "Scotty." The Pierce County Sheriff's Office says it got a call shortly before noon Tuesday that the boy was missing near the town of Oak Grove.

A Minnesota State Patrol helicopter is assisting with the search.

Officials say Scotty is 3 feet tall and has blond hair. He was last seen wearing green shorts and no shirt. His hair is cut in a buzz cut.
