2 women smash cars after texting argument

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A 19-year-old woman was arrested after she got into an assault involving automobiles.

Rochester police say they arrested 19-year-old Katlyn Murphy-Tasler after the incident in southeast Rochester.

Around 9:30 a.m. Monday, Murphy-Tasler got into an argument while texting with her 20-year-old roommate.

Officers say the two got into their vehicles and started smashing their cars into each other.

Murphy-Tasler had a four-year-old child in her car at the time.

She was arrested outside her home and is facing second degree assault charges.

The other woman involved could also be charged.
