LEWISTON, Minn. (KTTC-TV) -- A Lewiston man was jailed over the weekend after being arrested in a domestic assault investigation.
Winona Co. Sheriff's Chief Deputy Ron Ganrude says a 26-year-old woman told officers she was hit in the head by a bottle of hot sauce in a dispute with Michael Dandridge, 33, at 120 W. Main Street in Lewiston on Saturday.
The sheriff's office received one 9-1-1 hangup call before responding; Ganrude says Dandridge had fled the home and was found changing his clothes behind a business in Lewiston.
Dandridge was initially held on four recommended charges of second degree assault/dangerous weapon, domestic assault/by strangulation, terroristic threats/reckless disregard-risk, and domestic assault/harm. The first two charges are felonies.
