One killed, 3 hurt in crash on Hwy. 14 East

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- One person was killed in a crash near RCTC Thursday afternoon, and three others hurt.

74-year-old Robert Dusso of Eyota was killed in the three car crash. 57-year-old Monica Harrell of Winona is listed in fair condition at Saint Marys Hospital. 17-year-old Ashley Wiltrout and 15-year-old Justen Wiltrout, both of Rochester, were also hurt.  Mayo Clinic has not released an update on their condition.

The accident happened on Highway 14 Thursday afternoon between East Circle Drive and Olmsted County Road 11.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, a vehicle driven by Dusso drifted across the center line and crashed head on with a Toyota Corolla.

Then a third car smashed into the Corolla.

Investigators are still working on what caused the crash. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
