Man, 19, dies in fall from Minn. cellphone tower

SOLWAY, Minn. (AP) -- A 19-year-old man has died after falling from a cellphone tower in northern Minnesota.

The Beltrami County sheriff's office received several 911 calls just before 6 p.m. Tuesday reporting that a communications tower climber had fallen near Solway.

Emergency workers found a man who had fallen 153 feet to the ground. He was killed on impact.

The man was from North Dakota. His name is being withheld until family members are notified.
