ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC ) -- Rochester police are investigating the armed robbery of a T-Mobile store by a man wearing a construction disguise.
The business on Crossroads Drive Southwest was robbed around 9 a.m. Monday.
An employee says he was opening the doors and went to the back of the store briefly.
When he came out to the front, there was a man with a handgun standing there.
The suspect held up the gun and demanded money.
Investigators say the suspect took cash and electronics from the back, and then restrained the employee.
Surveillance photos from the store were released Tuesday afternoon.
The suspect is a white man, in his 30s, 5'10" tall and weighs around 210 pounds. He was armed with a silver hand gun and a brown bandana was covering his face. The suspect was wearing a gray sweater, jeans, yellow construction vest and a yellow hard hat with the letters RPU. Rochester Public Utilities (RPU) says the style of lettering and color of the hard hat are different than the ones used by RPU employees.
