BELLEFONTE, PA-- Former Penn state assistant football coach Jerry sands has been convicted of 45 counts at his child sex abuse trial.
After the verdict was announced San dusky was led away from the courthouse in handcuffs to a waiting patrol car.
The jurors had considered 48 charges against him, accusing him of abusing 10 boys over a 15-year period.
They reached a verdict after listening to seven days of testimony and deliberating for 20 hours.
San dusky did not take the stand in his own defense.
He now faces a minimum of 60 years in prison and a maximum of 442 years.
