Boy on skateboard hit by car in Red Wing

RED WING, Minn. (KTTC) -- A 14-year-old boy was hurt in Red Wing after being hit by a car.

According to the Red Wing Police Department, Reilee Fick was riding a skateboard down a driveway, and as he was going into the street he was hit by a vehicle headed west on Bush Street.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Fick was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.  His injuries were not life-threatening.
