ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A Rochester man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for a recent stabbing in Central Park.
47-year-old James Poole entered into a plea agreement admitting to first-degree assault for stabbing 30-year old Wesley Withers in the chest, abdomen and leg.
Witnesses say Poole became agitated just before pulling the knife on the night of April 18.
Poole and the victim had been drinking with several others at the downtown park prior to the incident.
