WINONA, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two men were arrested after an assault with a handgun at a Winona bar.

28-year-old Cornelius Williams and 31-year-old Matthew Danzeisen, both of Winona, were taken into custody Tuesday morning.

Two patrons of Eastside Bar say they were approached by the men around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

They say one of the men pulled a handgun and held it up to one of the victim's chest asking him "who beat up my buddy?"

They took the victims's shirt, eventually gave it back, but then took off on foot.

Investigators arrested Williams Wednesday morning at a home on the 650 block of East 11th Street and recovered a pellet gun.  Danzeisen was later picked up on the 250 block of East 3rd Street.

Both are facing multiple charges.
