ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- We're starting the work week on a warm and humid note as a slight southwest breeze will continue to blow some moist air into the area and bright sunshine will warm us into the upper 80s and lower 90s.
A weak warm front triggered some thunderstorms last night and that same front will linger in the area today, possibly setting off a few more late day and evening thunderstorms, especially in the eastern part of our local area.
We'll have a couple of round of storms tomorrow, one early and another tomorrow night and then Wednesday will be quite unsettled with periods of showers and thunderstorms through the day as a strong cold front pushes through the region.
Behind that front, things will be less humid and slightly cooler and rain free for Thursday and Friday.
There will be a chance for some thunderstorms late Friday night and early Saturday, but otherwise things will be drier for the weekend as well.
