ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC)- A search of a Rochester home has led to two arrests on drug possession.
The warrant was executed at 10:30 a.m. Thursday on the 900 block of 7th Street Northeast in association with an ongoing investigation. Upon arrival, police found 10 grams of meth. Two arrests have been made because of the raid.
The owner of the house, 32 year-old Matthew Cole will be facing charges of 1st or 2nd degree possession of a controlled substance. 30 year-old Jeremiah Siewart, of Rochester who is facing charges of 3rd degree possession of a controlled substance.
Police say they found no signs of drug manufacturing but have secured bags and scales, which indicates the intent to sell.
The Building Safety Department is also involved in the investigation as they condemned the home.
Sergeant Paul Wilson of the Rochester Police Narcotics division says, "The house is in pretty bad condition, there was no electricity, wires were exposed inside, and as you can see there's no windows. Building and safety was notified."
Three pit bulls were also removed from the property.
Furthermore, the house is right across from Silver Lake Park and Silver Lake Pool.
