Woman indicted in Byron McDonald's robbery

BYRON, Minn. (KTTC) -- A woman is in federal custody, accused of stealing thousands of dollars from a Byron McDonald's restaurant with a loaded gun.

Quiana Evans, 24, faces one count of interference with commerce by robbery, one count of brandishing a firearm during a crime of violence, and a third charge of felony firearms possession.

A federal grand jury indicted Evans in the robbery on June 15, 2011, along with Christian Alexander for stealing around $2,000 from McDonald's.

Evans will appear at a motions hearing in July.

Alexander was convicted and is serving a 15 year prison sentence.
