ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Clouds and showers are moving into the region today ahead of a storm system to our west.
We'll have a slightly unsettled day with a few light showers and perhaps a rumble of thunder or two, gusty southeast winds, and high temperatures in the mid 70s this afternoon.
The rain and thunderstorm chances will increase in coverage tonight and tomorrow and later in the day, there may be a few strong storms.
High temperatures tomorrow will be in the low 80s with gusty winds and more humidity in the air.
That thick humidity will stick around for the weekend with occasional showers and thunderstorms from Friday through Sunday as a couple of storm systems will slide through the region and this unsettled, humid trend will actually continue through Tuesday or Wednesday of next week, so there will be plenty of opportunities for us to get much needed rain across the area in the next week.
