Austin police investigate 2 restaurant robberies

AUSTIN, Minn. (KTTC) -- Austin police are investigating two restaurant robberies.

Break-ins at El Patron Mexican Restaurant and China Star were reported Monday.

They happened sometime in the overnight hours.

A bar had been used to open the back doors of the restaurants and an unknown amount of cash was taken from each.

Police say no alarms sounded, and so far there are no suspects.
