ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- We're going to lose the heavy humidity we felt over the weekend today as the cold front that sparked some intense thunderstorms in the area last night continues to push away to the east, allowing slightly, cooler air to blow into the region.
Look for occasional sunshine through the day with high temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s and west winds occasionally gusting to 30 miles per hour.
We'll get a taste of fall in the air tonight as temperatures will drop off into the upper 40s with a slight northwest breeze.
Tuesday will be cool and pleasant as we get a nice break from the summer heat and humidity as highs will be around 70°.
We'll gradually then add some heat to the scene later in the week with highs in the mid 70s, climbing to the 80s by the end of the week while thunderstorm chances will also sneak into the area by Friday and Saturday.
