PREVIOUS: Waterloo man faces charges of shooting mother/daughter

WATERLOO (KWWL) -

A Waterloo man now faces murder charges after a shooting that killed a mother and left her daughter seriously injured.

The shooting early last month killed 59-year-old Kay Straw, and injured 33-year-old Marlene Buss.

Buss said Wednesday that police charged 33-year-old Kevin Ambrose with first-degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.

Ambrose has been in jail, charged with possessions of a firearm as a felon.
