Two ejected in crash near Chatfield

NEAR CHATFIELD, Minn. (KTTC) -- The Fillmore County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol are investigating a crash that sent two young women to the hospital.

The accident happened five miles southwest of Chatfield on County Road 5 around 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Megan Pierce was driving a Kia Rio, when it left the road and rolled into the ditch before coming to rest on its roof.

Pierce and her passenger, Breanna Vandellen, were ejected.

Both women are 21-years-old and from Chatfield.

The women were taken to Saint Marys Hospital, but there is no patient update available on either of them.
