LAKE CITY, Minn. (KTTC)-- Authorities are searching for a suspect on the loose after he robbed the Alliance Bank in the heart of downtown Lake City.
Surveillance cameras snapped photos of the suspect while he was robbing the bank.
Around 4:15 p.m. Monday Lake City Police responded to a bank alarm at Alliance Bank.
Lake city authorities, Goodhue County, Wabasha Counties and the FBI responded to the scene.
Lake City Police Chief Gary Majchrzak says, "There was a note passed on the inside, to a teller and that the note had indicated that a suspect had a gun. No gun was ever seen that we're aware of. An undisclosed amount of cash was given to the suspect, he fled on foot."
The suspect is described as a white male in this early to late 20's, with dark hair.
He was last scene wearing a white shirt with a blue shirt beneath it and tan shorts.
