ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) - Rochester police are investigating two reports of gunfire over the weekend.
The first happened on the 4700 block of 13th Avenue Northwest around 3:15 a.m. Sunday.
When officers responded, they found a home had been hit four times during a drive-by shooting.
The homeowner, a two-year-old and 10-year-old inside were not hurt.
Investigators say they are still working on a motive.
The second report of shots fired happened on the 1900 block of 8 1/2 Street Southeast around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday.
"I heard the gun shots go off. But I didn't come out. We hear them quite a lot around here," said Rochester resident near the scene Richard Lake. "It seems to be a common thing."
Officers found shell casings at the scene and witnesses reported seeing two different vehicles involved.
It is unclear if people in the cars were shooting at each other, or at a person on the sidewalk.
Investigators are looking for a small green car with a black hood seen at the scene.
