Missing Winona boater's body found

WINONA, Minn. (KTTC)-- Authorities have located the Winona man who went missing in the Mississippi River May 17th.

Winona County Sheriff Dave Brand says a search team and deputy located 57-year-old Ralph Andring this afternoon.

He was found down by the Trempealeau dam.

Andring had been missing for two weeks when he fell into the Mississippi while out boating.

The driver of the boat tossed Andring a life preserver, but he was unable to reach it.

Since then, crews have been out searching the 10-mile stretch of river.

Their search concluded Friday night at 5 p.m.
