Investigation into car battery thefts

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- An investigation is underway into a recent string of car battery thefts.

Timm's recycling in Saint Charles has been the victim of thefts for many months.

Saint Charles Police contacted the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office after one of the battery's serial numbers was tracked to Watson Recycling in Rochester.

The investigation is ongoing.
