ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Two assault and robbery suspects have been arrested after being identified through surveillance photos.
18-year-old Amanda Auringer and 18-year-old Lakesha Davis, both of Rochester, are facing first degree robbery and third degree assault charges.
They're accused of assaulting and robbing a 23-year-old woman Sunday around 2:30 a.m. on the 400 block of 2nd Street Southwest.
Investigators say the victim was walking home from a bar alone and was on her cell phone, when she was attacked. The suspects knocked her down and knocked her out, and then took her purse and cell phone.
Originally three suspects were shown in the surveillance photos, but police say the third woman was not involved in the crime and will not be charged.
