ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Another round of copper thefts are under investigation.
The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office is reporting a theft from a foreclosed home on Viola Road Northeast. It was discovered by a realtor checking on the property.
All the copper has been stripped away, including pipes and wiring. Some was also taken off of the natural gas tank outside.
The estimated loss is around $1,500.
Meanwhile. Rochester police are investigating a copper theft from the Lighthouse Family Church on Elton Hills Drive.
Police say the theft could have happened anytime between September and this week since copper tubing was taken from air conditioning units.
Three units were vandalized. The crime was reported Tuesday.
