Rochester raising money for fireworks

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- The city of Rochester is raising private money to support the annual 4th of July Fireworks Show.

Mayor Ardell Brede is asking for support in any amount including the following categories:

Red: $250+

White: $500+

Blue: $1,000+

Contributions from individuals and businesses in the above categories will be acknowledged in all publicity.

A Gold category will be created for gifts of $2,000 or more.

Contributions of $1 to $250 will be clustered by total dollars contributed by Sparklers.

Donations can be dropped off at the City Clerk's desk or mailed to:

Checks can be made out to Mayor's Promotional Account.
