LEWISTON, Minn. (KTTC) -- Emergency crews are jumping into crisis mode... but don't worry it's not a real emergency.

It's a demonstration to celebrate EMT Week.

Responders performed a live jaws-of-life demonstration and the Mayo One Helicopter flew in.

Members of the community gathered at the firehouse where they ate dinner and enjoyed watching the demos.

And the overcast, windy, rainy weather didn't stop them.

This isn't the first year the Lewiston Fire Department has hosted this event.

It gives the public an inside look at emergency crews' daily routines.
