ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Investigators have identified a body found underneath a bridge Saturday afternoon.

Police say 27-year-old John Michael Arleth V was found underneath the bridge at the intersection of 11th Avenue Northwest and 3rd Street Northwest.

A 911 call was made to police about a possible medial emergency underneath the bridge. Once police arrived, they confirmed that it was somebody who had died.

"Someone was under the bridge looking for items in the river which isn't untypical to put in their fish tank at home. They saw this person that didn't look right," explains Sgt. Gretchen O'Neil with the Rochester Police Department.

Investigators say "this appears to be a non-criminal event."
