GLENDALE, Ariz. (AP) -- The Phoenix Coyotes have signed former St. Cloud State goaltender Mike Lee to a three-year entry-level contract.
Coyotes general manager Don Maloney announced the deal Thursday but didn't disclose any financial details.
The 21-year-old Lee was a third-round draft pick of Phoenix in 2009.
He had an 8-6-2 record with a 2.23 goals against average and a .930 save percentage in 16 games this season with St. Cloud State.
Lee was 32-29-9 in 74 games in his three-year career with the Huskies of the WCHA.
He led Team USA to the gold medal game at the 2010 IIHF World Junior Championship.
