La Crosse, WI (WXOW) When he was a college student, he studied business. But David Russell wanted to see more immediately the impact of his work. So, Russell continued his education and studied law.
Russell says that study has enabled him to see how his work affects people. And he's taken that assistance beyond the clients who seek his help at his law firm.
Russell recognized a population not always able to afford legal help. So, in 2006, he began a legal clinic in La Crosse. For that effort, David Russell is the March recipient of the Jefferson Award.
You can learn more about Russell's efforts by watching the attached story by News 19's Dave Solie.
