
Louia B. Rehling

Lt. Louia B. Rehling served 16 years in the US Army and Air Force. During WWII he served with the 106th Infantry Division, the "Golden Lions".
Louia fought in the Battle of the Bulge. It is well know the 106th Infantry Division was the hardest hit division during the Battle of the Bulge. He served in the campaigns in Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes-Alsace. Louia was overseas for three years during WWII and served with the Air Force during the Korean War.
Louia was one of five Rehling Brothers who served in the Army during WWII. The war took it's toll and Louia died at a veterans hospital in Tuskeggee, Ala at a the young age of 46.
Louia is buried at the Pine Island cemetery.
