Triton School District referendum passes

DODGE CENTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- Voters in the Triton School District passed a $9.6 million referendum Tuesday by extending a current referendum that would have expired in 2017.

The new referendum will run through 2015. It passed 861 to 637.

The money will allow the school district to tackle some much needed classroom expansions and repairs.

Renovations include 14 new classrooms, a new theater and an expansion of the gym.
