Police: Girl followed home after school

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC) -- A reminder for parents and students to be aware of their surroundings after a 10-year-old girl says she was followed home Tuesday after school.

Investigators say the girl noticed a guy following her as she got off the school bus around 4 p.m. on the 4200 block of Mallard Place SE.

The girl says the man followed her across the street and up her driveway.  He continued to stand there after she went into the house and locked the doors.

The man didn't say anything to the girl.

He is described as a 65-year-old Somali man, wearing a tan hat, trench coat and blue shirt.  He is around 5'7" tall and weighs 160 pounds.
