
Daniel joined KTTC in July 2011. He began as a reporter, covering President Obama's visit to Cannon Falls in August. In September, Daniel moved to mornings as co-anchor of NewsCenter Today.
Daniel grew up in Louisville, Kentucky before moving to Omaha, Nebraska in 2000. He studied abroad his first year and a half of college in the Republic of Panama, and eventually graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a degree in broadcast journalism
Daniel began his news career at KETV-TV (ABC) in Omaha, working his way from intern to full-time reporter/producer.
Now in Minnesota, he's able to spend much more time with his fiance Carissa, who's a nursing student at Winona State. Right now they're spending much of their time planning their August 2012 wedding.
Daniel likes hanging out with friends and family, and enjoys basketball, football, fishing and hiking.
"I love nature, and now I live in the perfect state to enjoy the great outdoors. I'm just not looking forward to my first Minnesota winter."
