Phil Henoch: 10 Who Make A Difference

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC-DT) -- There are many people or groups of individuals who are making a huge difference in the lives of others.  This year, we are going to be honoring ten in our KTTC and United Way 10 Who Make A Difference Awards.

Phil Henoch was nominated by the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation.  For more than 30 years, Phil has championed the mission of the Ronald McDonald House of Rochester in so many ways.  As a longtime owner of several McDonald's restaurants, he used that platform to help families in need.

"It's been a cooperative effort by a lot of people.  I put a saying on the house... this house belongs to no one person, it belongs to everyone.  That's the truth of the matter," says Phil Henoch.

Besides his 30 year commitment to Ronald McDonald House, Phil has also made his mark across the region with the Southern Minnesota Initiative Foundation. His nominees say he's set an example of leadership and gives of himself in meaningful ways.

Phil and our other 'Difference' award recipients will be honored next Wednesday at 1 p.m. during Rochesterfest at the downtown stage.
