IBM Turns 100

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC-DT) -- Thursday, IBM officially hits the century mark, and to close out 100 years they teamed up with the United Way and the Boys and Girls Club to promote literacy.  At the Boys and Girls Club, different stations were set up with different books.  At each station kids did various activities going along with the book at that spot.  Between the two Boys and Girls clubs in Rochester, about 120 kids showed up,  and it was truly all about them.

"We have a variety of activities going on with the kids, a lot about reading, so this particular event is focused on literacy. Education of course being critical to all of us in our future," says Elaine Case with IBM.

At the end of the day the kids were allowed to pick two books home with them to read.
