8-story fall kills window washer in St. Louis Park


ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) -- A window washer has died after falling from the roof of an eight-story apartment building in St. Louis Park.

City spokesman Jamie Zwilling says the man was part of a window washing crew when he fell from the Knollwood Place Apartments, a 151-unit independent senior living building. He says the man died on impact.

The accident happened around 2:15 p.m. Friday. Nobody else was injured.

Zwilling says an investigation is under way. The victim's name has not been released.
