Farm and Power Show returns to Owatonna

OWATONNA, Minn. (KTTC) -- If you're looking for something fun to do this weekend with the family, head to Owatonna. The North American Farm and Power Show kicked off Thursday.

The ag show features nearly 300 vendors, with a mixture of educational seminars throughout the day. Farmers and ranchers alike can learn more about feed and seed data, building suppliers and wind energy technology. The shows organizer said it's truly a hands on experience.

"You can go from lot to lot and look at equipment, but here is a chance to go to a farm show and see all that equipment in one location. You can walk around, visit with the dealers and reps, and touch and feel," said Steve Guenthner.

The show runs through Saturday, at the Four Seasons Building, located at the fairgrounds. Admission and parking are free. Officials expect more than 30,000 people to attend.
