Rochester, Minn. (KTTC) A preview of Rochesterfest with the winning button design was announced Wednesday morning.
And the winner of this year's button design is graphic designer Heather Tollers.
She received a 500 dollar check for her winning design.
This year's theme is "Make Your Mark" and Tollers says she wanted to do more than just a simple hand print.
"And I guess the rays represent us making a mark in Rochester with the star kinda as the symbol of Rochester but also going out to the community and making a mark on the world," says Tollers.
She says after she thought of the design, it only took her a couple of nights to draw the button.
This is the 29th year a button for Rochesterfest has been chosen.
