EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (KTTC-DT/AP) -- Minnesota Vikings All-Pro left guard Steve Hutchinson has an injury to his right quadriceps muscle that kept him out of practice.
Hutchinson wore a protective sleeve on his right leg on Wednesday. According to Minnesota's injury report, Hutchinson did not participate in any of practice.
Neither did quarterback Brett Favre, whose NFL-record streak of 291 straight games started is in question this week because of two fractures in his left ankle.
Like Favre, Hutchinson is one of the league's most durable players. He hasn't missed a game since breaking his leg in 2002, so this injury isn't necessarily a major concern for the Vikings.
Also, starting safety Husain Abdullah returned to practice on Wednesday after being cleared of post-concussion symptoms.
