ROCHESTER, Minn. (KTTC-DT) -- Investigators are reviewing surveillance video after a riot broke out early Saturday morning at a hotel in downtown Rochester.

Officers were called to a fight, involving 30-40 people, around 1 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express, on the 200 block of South Broadway.

Officers responded, but soon called for back-up from the Olmsted County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol.

A hotel employee told the NewsCenter that the building sustained serious damage due to the brawl.

The damages include holes in the walls and ceiling, as well as a broken lamp and numerous tables.  Investigators say the current damage estimate is $2,650.

Investigators say three people received minor injuries during the brawl.  One person was also ticketed for disorderly conduct.

The police department says the investigation is on-going and charges may come after reviewing the surveillance video.
