About Us

We are all experienced in the areas of law where we practice, and we intentionally limited our practice to three broad areas. Sometimes, to our clients' benefit those areas overlap with each other. Limiting our areas of practice allows us to develop true expertise in these areas, keep up with new developments in the law, and not be distracted by changes in the law in different areas of practice. That is why we restrict our cases to the following broad areas:

Personal injury cases, including wrongful death, car accidents, dog bite, slip and fall cases are handled by all three of us. Occasionally, Tom Fitzpatrick will accept a medical malpractice, but those are very rare. Tom has over 32 years of experience handling various types of personal injury cases. Tom has been chosen by his peers as a "Super Lawyer" for the past 7 years, that is, ever since the "Super Lawyer" program started. Mark Siefert has also handled personal injury cases for over 20 years, and will frequently help clients with that type of claim. Dave Fitzpatrick has over 10 years of experience in handling numerous personal injury, car accidents, dog bites and wrongful death cases. Dave has been chosen by other attorneys to be a "Rising Star" in the area of personal injury cases.

Workers Compensation. All three attorneys have been handling workers compensation cases their entire careers. As a firm, we believe we have more experience in handling workers compensation cases than any firm in western Wisconsin. Workers compensation cases are Mark Siefert's primary area of practice. He is recognized by workers compensation insurance companies and judges as being very knowledgeable and experienced in handling workers comp cases. Mark is also active in the Wisconsin organization which is composed of attorneys and workers comp judges whose primary area of practice is in workers compensation law.

Social Security Disability Claims. The third area of practice for our firm is Social Security Disability claims and Supplemental Social Security Income claims. Dave Fitzpatrick has developed a remarkable amount of expertise in handling social security claims, sometimes referred to as SSDI or SSI. He has a very high winning percentage of cases, exceeding 80%.  While most of his social security cases are in Wisconsin and Minnesota, he handles these claims all across the United States.  We believe he currently handles more social security claims than any other lawyer in western Wisconsin. More importantly, the Judges from the Social Security Administration frequently compliment Dave on his thorough preparation and knowledge of the case, the client and the law.
