PINE CITY, Minn. (AP) -- Funeral services are set for a Marine from Minnesota who was killed in Afghanistan.

The funeral for Master Sgt. Daniel Fedder will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pine City National Guard Armory. It's open to the public, and Gov. Tim Pawlenty is scheduled to attend.

His family says a wake will be held at the Armory starting at 4 p.m. Monday for the public to pay their respects.

The 34-year-old Fedder was a highly decorated Marine bomb disposal technician. He was killed by a roadside bomb Aug 27. The 16-year corps veteran was previously deployed to Iraq in 2004 and 2006.
